ibanez ddl digital delayThis is an Ibanez DDL Digital Delay that came out in 1985. It was in the “Master” series that came out in between the 9 and 10 series. Many aficionados think that Ibanez “got it right” with this one. It has the reputation as a very analog sounding effect for a digital pedal, much more so than those coming out before or after. It has a short mode, which has delay from 28ms to 224ms, a long mode of 224ms to 1800ms, and a HOLD mode where you can loop several seconds and jam to your own playing.

Super durable housing, extremely efficient and reliable, and soooo much fun to sit and mess around with. You can get slight echo sounds, noisy repeats and everything in between out of this old bird. Ibanez really makes quality stuff that is built to last, and this DDL is a prime example of that. All-in-all, a great vintage-y delay pedal from Ibanez.
