Another great pedal from E-Wave. This thing is cheap, sturdy, true bypass and a full blown analog delay to boot. I’ve opened this one up as well to verify the true bypass since it was made in China. The circuitry is all quite neat. All well soldered and looks to be in pretty good order.
The E-Wave delay has a standard three knob layout of Volume, Repeats and Time. This thing is a lot of fun to play with. has that great analog delay tone with tons of usability. Goes everywhere from slapback to full on self oscillating craziness and has tones of usable tone in between.
The only thing I want more in this pedal is a tap tempo. But if you’re the kind of person who just wants a set it and forget it delay then go grab one of these. You get great analog tone for half the price of any of the Boss DD series pedals. At $45 you could get two of these and have a long and short delay and be totally set.
I really like this pedal. Been on my board since I got it and it’s worked like a charm.
