Ladies and gents! If you’ve never had the pleasure of experiencing anything made by the hands of Dan from this1smyne, you are truly missing out. For your viewing and gear addicted pleasures, I bring you the Touch Drive. Hands off!!! This one’s mine… (see what i did there) – get your own. If you are searching that endless search for the right “tone” or finding your “sound”, consider the Touch Drive. This thing goes anywhere from light transparent drive to thick gritty in yo face grrrrrrrowl. Works as a great clean boost as well.

This circuit of the Touch Drive is the left side of the Pearl (a two in one drive pedal). It can easily fit any style of playing with any guitar. Three knob configuration: Volume, Gain and Shine. The Shine simply brightens up the signal. Also has a three way clipping toggle. The middle is an open clipping option, and the the two other sides are even more clipping options, so it makes it a great tool when matching the sound you want with different guitars and pickups. Another thing is this thing has great picking dynamics. When you play soft, it cleans up real nice, and to get dirty just dig into the strings a little harder.

The sound of this pedal is amazing and still remains on my big board, plus it also stacks well with other drive pedals. Put a TS-style pedal in front (or after, whatever you like) and get thick, VERY full-sounding drive. It can be run at 9v or 18v. Out of a LLLOOOTTT of drive pedals I’ve been through, this one remains. It’s a keeper in my book. Check out Dan’s stuff at this1smyne.com!
