Boost/Drive, Drive/Compressor, Fuzz/Tremolo (check out the Troctave) and the classic Delay/Reverb, which is the combo featured in today’s pedal. Lone Wolf Audio has been creating far-out, inventive and certainly unique pedals for some time now, and the Full Nelson Delay Reverb is yet another killer effect in a killer long list of their killer line of effects.

The Reverb side of the Full Nelson features Ouptut, Mix, Dampen and Dwell controls, for a wide range of reverberated sounds, from slight and subtle to overpowering and over=the-top. The Delay side starts off with Pre-Delay, Post-Delay and Feedback controls, to get things started. A Mix knob underneath those lets you dial in exactly how much effect you want in your signal path, for complete control of your sound. Finally, a 3-way Mode selector rounds out the Delay knobs, allowing you to choose from Mid-Fi Tape Delay, Traditional Delay and Pronounced Delay modes.

In addition to the on/off switches for these two effects, there’s a third soft momentary switch right smack dab in the middle of the pedal – Speed Shift, which basically takes the effects and stretches it out, like an old tape machine, creating some unpredictable and exploratory new sounds to add into the mix. On top of all this, the graphics are taken from the cult classic movie Eraserhead, so it is not only a choice piece of musical gear, but a collector’s item for fans of the movie and genre as well.

Killing 2 tasty effects pedal birds with one sonic stone, the Full Nelson Delay Reverb will get your experimental blood flowing, and could potentially lead to a lost weekend (or week) if you happen to get sucked into it’s powerful auditory clutches. There’s a LOT going on with this pedal, all the more reason to call in sick to work for a week, sit down with this bad boy and let the games begin. Thanks so much to Joe over at Lone Wolf Audio for the opportunity to play a truly unique and exciting multi-pedal – be sure to head over to his website and see all the crazy and interesting pedals he’s got up for sale, as they change rapidly and without warning, so get on it!
