Ninevolt Pedals Bath Time ReverbWe start off this shortened week with the first of many pedals we’ll be reviewing from a great little company located in Japan, Ninevolt Pedals. With unique graphics and a lineup of effects that are sure to have something for every guitar player’s needs, these guys are putting out some affordable and great-sounding pedals. We’re going to start things off with a favorite effect of ours, and one of the nicest we’ve heard in a while at this level – the Bath Time Reverb.

The simple controls can be deceptive, but the Bath Time Reverb adds a wonderful color and texture to your tone, without a lot of complication and manual deciphering. A Mix knob lets you blend your Wet and Dry signals, while the Time control extends the overall reverberation of the effect, with short echoes when turned to the left, and vast, spacious sonic expanses when cranked clockwise.

There’s a three-way toggle switch here, too, which lets you select between 3 different reverb modes. With Hall, Spring and Room to choose from, there’s a different and unique flavor available for everyone. Using these three modes in conjunction with the Mix and Time controls yields a plethora of echoes and depth to your tone, all with ease and delight.

Featuring rad artwork from Jonas Claesson, the Bath Time Reverb is a wonderfully simple and excellent-sounding effect, a perfect addition to any musical setup. Whether you need just a bit of color and sparkle to your sound, or you want to take a sonic journey through space and time, this brilliant little pedal from Ninevolt Pedals will get you headed in the right direction. Thanks so much to those guys for sending this (and all their other pedals) to us for review – keep an eye out for their whole catalog being reviewed in the coming weeks!
