How long have you been a musician? How did you get into it in the first place?
Around thirty years. Was obsessed with drums as a youngster, progressed from there.
Who have been some of your major musical influences, past or present?
Anyone who plays the guitar incredibly… SRV, Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Trey Anastasio, Chet Atkins, Danny Gatton. I love studio guitarists these days… Pete Thorn, Brent Mason.
What drew you to using pedals initially? Have you been using them throughout your playing career? How have pedals helped to shape your sound, or influence the style that you’ve created?
Always used pedals, started by seeing what my heroes were using and tried to scoop as many as possible and learn how hero’s used them to shape their signature tones.
