One Pot Mojado Wetback DriveA little while back, we were super excited to get a package all the way from Mexico, containing a pedal from One Pot, a company that we had been excited to work with for a while. Not only that, but this particular pedal, the Mojado Wetback Drive, had been custom-designed for us, and was even emblazoned with the Pedal of the Day logo, which we always love! Plus, it’s a 2-In-1, which hold special places in our musical hearts, and will add some great sounds to your clean signal.

A combination of two of One Pot’s existing pedal lineup, the Mojado fuses the Full Stimulator Booster pedal in with the Barrio Drive, making for a slew of tonal possibilities. The left hand boost section features just one lone level knob, and can be used either independently or in conjunction with the drive section, for a more powerful sound. The Barrio Drive portion, which is silicon transistor-based, contains Gain, Tone and Level controls, and will produces sounds ranging from a sparkling clean boost to a mid-gain, amp-inspiring overdrive. Getting into classic “edge-of-breakup” territory when cranked up, this pedal adds just the right amount of tonal nuances to your dry signal, and will drive an amp with no problem as well.

One Pot LogoHand wired and built in Mexico, the Mojado Wetback Drive features true bypass wiring and a solid enclosure, providing many years of wear and tear as we move through the future. Offering overdrive, fuzz, booster and distortion pedals, One Pot is also diving into the pedal-sized amp market, which we cannot wait to see (and hopefully review!). Thanks so much to our new friend José and everyone at One Pot for sending this beautiful pedal up north for us to check out – we will display the pedal and our logo on it for all to see. Cheers!
