The Rover Fuzz comes to us from Animals Pedal, via Skreddy Pedals, easily creating big, fat and tone-filled walls of sound. The Rover Fuzz is a classic Tone Bender at heart, producing vintage, compressed fuzz sounds straight out of the late 60’s, all while staying extremely articulate and responsive to any playing style. The Wool control knob really shines as far as parameters go here, with an extended range of sonic options to explore and enjoy. Adjusting the sound density and thickness, Wool still keeps your original tone in tact, while adding a bit of pizazz, sparkle and brick wall compression.
Attack is another fun control to play with, letting you set both the distortion level AND the sharpness of the fuzz. Use your guitar’s Volume control to clean things up a bit if you need, furthering the broad spectrum of tonal bliss you can achieve using the Rover. The Level control rounds things out by setting the overall output volume.
Classic Rock? Blues? Doom? New Age? Well, maybe not that last one, but the other three are MORE than covered using the Rover Fuzz.
