Ah…are you telling me you built a time machine…out of a DeLorean?” Thus begins one of the greatest time-travel adventures ever to be created for the big screen, Back to the Future. Not only is this a personal favorite here at Pedal of the Day, but to millions of movie-goers across the globe. You may be asking yourself, “Why is a pedal review talking about a 30+ year-old movie starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd?” Well, here’s the answer: the folks at VVco Pedals. have created something else out of a DeLorean, only on a much smaller scale, and just perfect for what we do here. The DeLorean Analog Delay is a limited edition creation, where an analog delay circuit has been built into a highly detailed 1:24 scale die-cast metal vehicle modeled after the very same DeLorean we see in BTTF. There are lights that turn on all over this thing when the effect is engaged, and three simple buttons give you control over the echo. Level, Feedback and Time do just what you’d expect them to do, giving you a rich, warm delay tone that’s perfect for any musical situation. Not to mention all of the chatter you’ll get at the local pub or concert venue from the folks in the crowd who’ll happen to catch a glimpse of this pedal during your set. The 1/4″ input and output jacks are easy to connect with any rig, the pedal is true bypass and features 100% hand-wiring for a quality effect built to last.
