The Love Machine Octave Fuzz from All-Pedal has been one of the funnest pedals we’ve tried this year, and we couldn’t wait to test out some more gear from these guys. Today, we’re bringing you the Macrodose Envelope Filter, a powerful and options-laden creation that brings the funk and expands your consciousness. Get ready for an adventure, here we go….
Created in collaboration with Brian Marshall of Subdecay, the Macrodose is an analog filter with digital control, and limitless freedom to explore your mind. Working with guitar, bass and synthesizers, too, you can easily dial in just the right amount of mind-altering filter fun. Functions include autowah with selectable waveforms, sample/hold functions, step filter, random sample/hold, and even a pixelated filter function.
The new Blend control eliminates a more limited internal toggle switch, in favor of a versatile external control knob, to pan between your Dry and Wet signals. Nine basic Shapes (Analog Envelope, Step, Trigger, Manual LFO, Warp LFO, Pixelated Envelope, Envelope Trigger, Envelope > LFO manual and Envelope > LFO) let you sculpt your sound. Use the Mode Modifiers to tweak the Shape settings, and the External Expression pedal is a key ingredient for sonic experimentation here as well.
