The SCF Gold’s three modulation modes deliver the magic swirls, wobbling wonders and pure shimmering awesomeness of the SCF that we know and love, staying true – and paying tribute – to the original. This marvelous creation features near-endless headroom, colossal dynamic range, muscular low-frequency response, and whisper-quiet operation. The SCF Gold Stereo Chorus Flanger replicates its predecessor’s analog modulation effects to a T, and includes the incredible analog preamp that TC has become known for.
The 3 modulation modes are what you’re after wit this pedal. The Chorus is thick, lush, and gooey, and is the basis for Eric Johnson’s famed clean tone. The Pitch Modulation yields a more subtle character that’s ideal for adding girth and excitement to higher-gain tones, while the
Flanger mode ranges from subdued swishing to an ear-tickling, swirling cacophony of sound. The original SCF featured a built-in power cord, which required a separate wall outlet. This reissue boasts a standard 9V DC power socket, which makes integrating it with your pedalboard a piece of cake as well.
