Barn3 OXU Aux Switch Series

Today, we’re taking a deep dive into the world of Auxiliary switches, courtesy of our friends at Barn3. Their latest release(s) is the OXU Aux Switch Series, which features THREE different-sized aux switches to fit just about any pedal on the planet. No your everyday, normal, boring switches, these have a ton of different options, suiting the needs of the biggest pedalboard, or the smallest rig as well…

Three Sizes. Endless Possibilities… All sizes work with almost every pedal that uses momentary aux switching. The Mini is small but mighty, featuring two buttons, expandable to three (with Barn3’s Tesla Tap) with a shorter length, making it perfect for Eventide H9 & Dot9 Series, Meris, Source Audio, and Boss 200 Series. The Mini is priced at $79.

The Standard is unbelievably thin, again with two buttons expandable to three (with the Tesla Tap) in our narrowest enclosure. It’s perfect for Line 6 HX Stomp & DL4 MKII, and Boss 500 Series, and is priced at $89. The Three has three buttons in one enclosure, and works great with Eventide H90 and Strymon Big Sky, Timeline, and Mobius. The Three is priced at $99.

Like Barn3’s legendary OX9, the OXU series has an optional mounting plate that works with virtually any aux-able pedal. It’s also incredibly easy to mount – attach your OXU, attach your main pedal, break away the excess tabs, and you’re off to the races. Players love the plate because it creates one seamless pedal and allows you to hang your OXU over those useless gaps on your board. No other aux switch gives you this level of versatility.

There are no clunky off-the-rack enclosures here – every OXU is custom-designed. Maximum functionality in the smallest possible footprint is the name of the game. The OXU Aux Switch Series from Barn3 work with soooooo many different pedals – you’d be hard pressed to find an effect you couldn’t use them on.
