Summer School Electronics Spring Break Reverb 1

The majority of the pedals we’ve had the pleasure of checking out from Summer School Electronics have been in the boost/drive/distortion realm, but today, they’re switching gears into our favorite sonic dimension. I’m excited to help with the release their newest creation, the Spring Break Reverb. Combining a glorious reverb tone with some tasty delay/echo morsels, this pedal is perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike…

Surf the Echoes, Ride the Reverb – the Spring Break Reverb is a spring-style digital reverb with a built-in delay circuit that extends the reverb tails for added depth and dimension. With the Delay toggle switch off, the pedal acts as a classic reverb unit, with the Reverb knob adding natural space and spring to the player’s signal. With plenty of reverb tails available, this setting is perfect for amps without built-in reverb or for adding spacious depth to a song. When the Delay toggle switch is on, the delay circuit activates, affecting the reverb tails while keeping the initial guitar attack unaffected. By adjusting the Mix, Delay, and Feedback knobs, players can dial in subtle ambient textures or push the pedal into droning, self-oscillating chaos.

Featuring a silent switch and true bypass, the Spring Break Reverb is a versatile first reverb pedal or a unique addition to any pedalboard. As always, it’s hand built in Syracuse, NY, by working musicians with attention to detail. This one a fun one to go through and explore, as you’ll see in our demo video below – be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel while you’re there as well.
