Today, we’re doing something a bit different than usual, but I really think you’re gonna dig it. As some of you may be familiar, we have a series on our YouTube channel called ‘The Klone Wars‘, where Klon clones of all shapes and sizes go head-to-head to see which one (in the opinions of the viewers) sounds better. As I’ve built up a sizeable Klone collection over the years, I thought it might be fun to play similar sounds through each one, and let you all pick your favorites. This demo is a bit longer than our usual videos, but if you don’t watch ’til the end, how will you be able to TRULY tell everyone which Klone is the greatest? Exactly.
Now, I certainly don’t have anywhere close to ALL the klones pedals out in the wild, and I didn’t play a bunch of fancy licks or riffs in the demo – I purposely tried to keep things even across the board, letting the PEDALS speak for themselves. I’m sure there will be some comments about what I did or didn’t do correctly, but in the end, this is all just for fun, so let’s just sit back and have a good time – hope you enjoy, and thanks to every single one of these companies for their contributions to the wolrd of the KLONE…cheers!!
