It’s never a bad time for a Death By Audio pedal to arrive at your doorstep, and I’m particularly excited about today’s wild effect from our friends, and one of the craziest builders on the scene. The Infinity Verb Endless Soundscape takes whatever you assumed you knew about reverb and tosses it all out the ambient, noisemaking window. Part of DBA’s Destroyer Series, this limited, exclusive pedal was only available through Reverb.com…and they sold out very quickly.
The Infinity Verb stretches reverb into an endless soundscape. With just three simple controls — MIX, TIME, and FILTER — you can shape everything from subtle ambience to cavernous atmospheres, then expand them into infinite reverberations with the INFINITY footswitch. On the surface it’s straightforward, but its range invites endless exploration, keeping you lost in sound for hours. The pedal offers three distinct modes for freezing the reverb tail into a lush, evolving pad.
The first mode silences the input while sustaining the loop, the second allows new reverberations to continue over it, and the third pushes the effect into self-oscillating infinite feedback – swelling into an overwhelming wall of sound. Whether you’re after cinematic ambience, immersive drones, or total sonic collapse, the Infinity Verb is your portal to the infinite. Each Destroyer pedal delivers a distinct, over-the-top effect in a smaller, stage-friendly box – together forming a family of beautifully chaotic tone machines.
Introduced in Reverb’s Blacked Out series and the first release of Death By Audio’s Destroyer Series, the Infinity Verb Endless Soundscape sports the line’s signature look: a compact footprint, glowing vintage-style LED display, and minimal controls that conceal a world of sonic madness. Limited to 250 units worldwide, and exclusive to Reverb.com, these came and went pretty quickly, so if you can find one, I suggest you snatch it up!! Shop Death By Audio’s website, and check out our demo to hear this amazing creation in action, cheers!!
