I have been absolutely astonished by the creativity and uniqueness of the first two pedals I’ve seen from FruitFX Pedals, and I’m so stoked to have another one for you all to check out today. If you like twisting knobs, creating the sounds you might think that space alien craft would make, or just being creative and experimental, the Space Cube Phase Locked Loop (PLL) Fuzz is *perfect* for you. Utilizing classic PLL circuitry, this four-knobber will open up new sonic possibilities that you didn’t even know existed…and then some…

A spin-off of FruitFX Pedals’ best-selling pedal (the Melon Cube Synth Fuzz), the Space Cube aims to take your sound interstellar with some sounds akin to an alien communication device. By feeding the square wave goodness of the Melon Cube into a phase-locked loop, this pedal creates out-of-this-world tones that range from pitch-shifting fuzz to sub-octaves to theremin-like sounds.

As far as the controls go, you’ve got some familiar faces and some new additions. Vol adjusts the overall output volume level, and Tone adjusts the onboard low pass filter, brightening or darkening the effect. Wow! controls the intensity of the phase locked loop (PLL), while Rate lets you control the PPL’s overall speed. FruitFX Pedals are hand assembled in Long Beach, California, and come with a wonderful 2-year warranty (but don’t worry, these things are built like tanks).
