It’s always fun to see what goes on behind the secret curtain with any musician or band, and especially when it’s one of our favorites – in this case, Phish. Having watched every single concert from the Baker’s Dozen run, it’s safe to say that not only was it historic for all of us phans, but for Madison Square Garden, the city of New York and for music in general. Like ’em or not, this run of 13 concerts with 237 different songs and ZERO repeats is a pretty astonishing feat, one that’s not likely to be replicated, maybe ever.
Here’s an article from JamBase of an interview with Trey Anastasio about how the band approached the shows, and some of the feelings and emotions that went into this marvelous collection of concerts. Enjoy!
