SiB Electronics Mr. Fazedelic 4-Stage Phase Shifter

The effects pedals coming out of the SiB Electronics camp are all fairly unique in design and sound, and we’re excited to look at another one of their musical concoctions today. If you’re a fan of the Phaser genre, you’ll really dig the Mr. Fazeadelic. This dual channel phaser gives off tones that will send your sound back to the psychedelic era with a quickness, or add a slight bit of shimmer and pizazz to your tone.

The Mr. Fazeadelic is a 4-Stage Optical Phase Shifter, and boasts two separate channels for varying phase speeds. Using the left footswitch, you can seamlessly select between the Rate1 and Rate2 controls, setting them at differing speeds for access to 2 pedals in one, basically. The phaser effects produced here are warm and lush as well, with sonic ebbs and flows pulsating and throbbing with the best of ’em. Using the Depth knob, you get a dizzying array of tones, with the left side of the control labeled Mild, and the right labeled Wild. A broad range is present within this one knob, creating a vast spectrum of phase sounds for all to enjoy.

Hand built in the USA and housed in an abuse-resistant steel case, the Mr. Fazeadelic 4-Stage Optical Phase Shifter is a fantastic effect for all you phaser-lovers out there, and a pretty rad way to get introduced to the genre if you’re not. The dual speed selections make it easy to use on stage, and even more fun to experiment with in the studio or practice room.
