Mistweaver Effects The Serpent FuzzWe have been really lucky as of late to have some incredible fuzz pedals coming through the shop, from all different sizes of effects-building companies, each one with a distinct flavor and sound. The Serpent Fuzz from Mistweaver Effects is no different, featuring a simple control section and a toggle to spice things up ever so slightly. Inspired by a classic, sought-after green fuzz pedal, this thing brings your tone to life, rocking any amp and lifting your inspiration to new heights.

The Green Russian Big Muff Pi is a fairly well-known pedal to fuzz aficionados, and The Serpent seeks to re-create those delicious tones, while adding in some unique sonic prowess of its own. Volume, Tone and Gain knobs create a pretty basic control section, but the fun lies in the lone toggle switch. Here, you can select from THREE differing modes of mids: Flat, Scooped or Boosted. Each of these modes reacts differently depending on where you set the three main knobs, for an almost never-ending cornucopia of tones and sounds to experiment, develop and create with. It also excels at low-end frequency output, making it a must-have for any serious 4 (or 5) string player out there.

Mistweaver Effects LogoHuge and aggressive, fat and bold but somehow silky smooth at the same time, The Serpent is everything you’ve ever wanted in a fuzz, complete with an easy-to-use control section and a wide spectrum of sounds to fit any rig or musical style. Cheers for a job well done to our friends at Mistweaver Effects – we’ve got some more effects from them coming shortly to our site, but for now, make sure to check out their website, as well as our demo video below!
