We love a good overdrive pedal here at Pedal of the Day – who doesn’t, really? We recently began showcasing two different Klone pedals a week in a series we dubbed The Klone Wars, and today’s featured pedal here has been one of our favorites in that lineup so far. The Pelion from Kasleder FX is a simple, three-knob overdrive that also works wonders as a clean boost, and will drive any tube amp right into the sweet breakup point with ease. Keeping the basic properties of that mythical beast pedal in tact, the Pelion expands on the famous transparency, adding a fresh twist to the design and circuitry. The Gain knob allows you to navigate through a wider spectrum of grit, from a perfectly clean boost with a lot of headroom, to a medium gain overdrive.
