Caline CP-80 Ragnarok Reverb Delay

We love a good, solid, inexpensive pedal around here, and we’ve been fortunate enough to have more than a couple of effects from our friends at Caline come through our shop. About six months ago, a Reverb/Delay combo showed up on our door, sporting the moniker Ghost Rain. While this pedal was a nice dive into both of those worlds, today’s pedal takes it up a couple notches further. The CP-80 Ragnarok is an updated version of our the Ghost Rain, giving you separate control switching and a variety of warm ambient sounds.

On the Reverb side, Decay sets the length of the reverb, while Mix controls the amount of reverb present in your signal. The results here are warm and ambient tones, perfect for adding a hint of sparkle to your sound, or propelling it up to the next level. On the Delay side, PRD controls the delay time, while Level sets the level of delay signal, which mixes with your straight guitar tone. Delay controls the delay time, sporting a nice range from 25ms to 600ms, and Repeat sets the number of repeats the delay signal produces.

Easily creating your own atmospheric sound, the Ragnarok is an excellent dual effect pedal for players of ALL types of genres, especially those on a budget. Not sacrificing tone or quality in the slightest, this purple monster from Caline delivers on all accounts, and with a now-separate control for the Reverb, not previously available on the Ghost Rain, you can really adjust it to fit your rig. Cheers once more to the Caline crew – be sure to check out our demo below, and stay tuned for more new and exciting pedals from these guys in the months ahead!
