Wampler Pedals Terraform Multi Modulation

Happy Holidays, everyone! As we approach the close of 2019, we’d like to take a look at a new and truly unique piece of gear, one that has been much anticipated in the effects world. As we all know, multi-effects pedals can be really, really good…and sometimes, they’re really, really bad. Thankfully, today’s pedal falls squarely into the former category, as an options-filled modulation machine that will blow your mind and test the very limits of your sonic sanity. Boasting 11 custom designed modulation effects, presets, MIDI control, assignable expression pedal input, advanced routing and more, the Terraform from Wampler Pedals covers all of your modulation needs….and some you didn’t even know you needed as well.

The Terraform features these 11 iconic modulation effects:

Auto-Wah | Envelope Filter
Flanger | Phaser
U Vibe | Rotary
Auto Swell | Tremolo
Harmonic Tremolo | Chorus
and Dimension

Each of these features extensive tweakability via the 5 control knobs: Rate, Depth, Blend, Variable and Volume (see our demo below for all the info on each mode). Use the Tap Tempo to control the speed of certain aspects of these modes, and there are even EIGHT different Presets you can customize and access in a moment’s notice. The sounds are absolutely incredible as well, thanks in part to the high-quality AD/DA conversion, with a 20Hz-20kHz frequency range. The Terraform will also take a power supply from 9V up to 18V, and draws just 107-108mA.

You can also control any of the 8 presets via MIDI, assign an expression pedal to control any of the 5 main knobs and even run it in full glorious stereo or keep it in mono…it’s up to you and your rig/setup. You can even use the Pre/Post feature to split your mono signal to route some effects to go before your drive pedals, or amp gain, and have the rest follow behind or in your effects loop. So much to explore in such a little package – we don’t know how they crammed it all in there, but it is one of the funnest, most riveting modulation pedals we’ve ever heard, and had a great time delving in to see what she could do. If you’re so inclined, feel free to take a gander at our demo video below – there’s a lot to cover and it’s about 20 minutes long, so strap on those headphones, sit back and enjoy the ride. When you’re done, head over to Wampler’s website and snag one of these for yourself….if you think you can handle it….
