Joyo R-06 O.M.B Looper + Drum Machine

Loopers and Drum Machines are both pretty fun pieces of gear, we can all agree on that, right? But what happens when you COMBINE these two effects into one pedal, AND it costs around 100 bucks? Well, then you’d be using the Joyo R-06 O.M.B Looper + Drum Machine, a powerfully fun and useful effect that has a ton of possibilities, and the sky’s the limit….

The O.M.B features the LOOPER cycle recording mode, independent DRUM machine mode, and LOOPER + DRUM mode. The Looper mode has auto-align and count-in functions, as well as 40 minutes of cycle recording time and unlimited overdub capabilities. The Drum Machine mode gives you 7 genres of drum pattern and 7 drumbeats to choose from, and you can the set the speed of drum patterns by using the Tap Tempo button. This machine also enables you to add fills, and outro fills can be added at the end of each drum pattern.

The drum genres feature Pop, Rock, Blues, Metal, Funk, Jazz and Latin selections, and, while not ALL of these are useable, you can find good choices in each genre. Plus, with 7 different patterns for each genre, along with the tap tempo, you’re sure to be able to find something that works for you. Add in that Looper, and you really do have the ability to perform as a One Man (or Woman) Band.

We’ve really been digging these pedals from Joyo that have been coming through the office lately, including the NASCAR Delay and the Vision Modulation.
