Danelectro Roebuck Overdrive Distortion

The Ibanez 10 Series is a classic collection, featuring some of the most celebrated (and perhaps underrated) pedals in history. Today’s featured effect recreates on of these vintage beauties, adding in a couple extras while retaining some ket sonic elements. The Danelectro Roebuck Overdrive Distortion is a take on the MT10 Mostortion, a Japanese-made MOSFET distortion pedal originating in the 1990’s.

Found, perhaps surprisingly, on many of the rigs of Nashville session players, the Mostortion is one of the most versatile pedals of its era. The Roebuck builds on this, keeping the original sound and adding to it. The Mode toggle lets you select from 3 different clipping options: Mode I has lower output and more saturation, Mode II boasts a louder, more open and crunchy sound and Mode III is the classic Mostortion tone.

In addition, the three-band EQ section, consisting of Bass, Mid and Treble knobs, is perfect for exact sculpting of your tone. Plus, with the wide range on the Dist knob, you’ve got a well-rounded beast of a pedal that’s sure to satisfy all your dirty cravings….musically speaking, of course. Flexible, bold and not costing over $400, the Danelectro Roebuck Overdrive Distortion gives you incredible tone at an incredible value. Cheers to the Danelectro crew on another stunning effect in their line of Vintage Pedal recreations, we can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store coming up!
