Dophix Nettuno Fuzz

The first couple of pedals we checked out from Dophix, the Michelangelo and the David, were absolute works of sonic art. Their latest offering, the Nettuno Fuzz, follows those two gems, taking it up a notch or two. The Nettuno is a fairly simple, three-knob fuzz pedal, but you’ll find immense sonic treasures lurking just beneath the surface…

Nettuno is Italian, and translates to Neptune in English, who was the Roman mythological god of the sea. Said to have commanded storms and monsters, the power he supposedly wielded has been captured inside this little silver box. Majestic and impressive, this singular fuzz will take you right into the heart of the storm, and envelop you in the violence of the waves. Fuzz, Tone and Level do their jobs quite nicely, creating a nice spectrum of dirt sounds to work with. No one trick pony, at lower gain levels you can coax out some beautiful overdrive tones, and when maxed the wall of fuzz is truly remarkable.

Creating large and defined distortions, the Dophix Nettuno Fuzz sounds as crisp as it looks. Using high quality components, true bypass circuitry and carbon resistors, it’s build to last and build to rock. If you’re on the hunt for a fuzz with distinguished character, along with a warm and defined sound, the Nettuno Fuzz is right up your alley. Congrats to Dophix on another wonderful creation – be sure to check out their website, and hear the Nettuno in action in our demo below!
