CKK Electronic Fluid Time MkII Analog Delay

Our first foray into the world of CKK Electronic was their Space Station TTM Stereo Delay Reverb, and it was a marvelous piece of gear to investigate. Today, we’re looking at another offering of theirs, the Fluid Time MkII Analog Delay, which focuses on strictly on all things delay. Digitally controlled but with an analog signal path, this one is as warm, vintage and inviting as it can be…

The layout of the Fluid Time MkII is similar to the Space Station, but there are a differing set of controls here. Blend mixes your signals, Delay sets your delay time (up to 750ms!) and Regen controls the feedback/repeats. The Working Mode toggle lets you flip into Kill Dry mode, or select from 3 delay modes that differ from the Normal mode you’re usually in (Dual Time, Step Over & Take Off). The small ∆ knob works differently, depending on which of these 3 modes you’re in, adjusting 2nd delay times, pitch modulation and more.

You also have access to Tap Tempo / Tap Divide functionality, 3 types of bypass, an equipped FX loop and CV or external switch capabilities. The all-analog signal chain provides a warm, clear tone that’s never ambiguous, and the equipped buffer circuit helps maintain the top of of the sustain. For all the info you need, and to dig deep into all the functionality here, be sure to grab a coffee and watch our entire demo video below. Once again, following in the footsteps of its sibling pedal, the CKK Electronic Fluid Time MkII Analog Delay is nothing short of incredible, perfectly reproducing that classic 80’s analog delay sound with ease. Thanks to CKK Electronic & Sinvertek for letting us dive into this one – we’ll be back with more from them soon, so stay tuned!
