Kink Guitar Pedals Dozer Fuzz

We’ve been in the Kink Guitar Pedals camp since we first took their Femtaur Boost Overdrive for a spin back in 2019, and we haven’t looked back. Today’s pedal from Melbourne, Australia, the Dozer Fuzz, uses a deceivingly simple set of controls to create a HUGE wave of fuzzy tone, working with multiple instruments and crushing everything in its path. It’s about to get doomy in here, prepare yourself…

The crew at Kink Guitar Pedals took the fuzz circuit from the Shin-Ei 8TR Fuzz Wah, used modern components and put it into a more pedalboard friendly enclosure, complete with top-mounted jacks. Working with Ross from the Cosmic Psychos, this monster fuzz works great on guitar AND bass, and has a great range of tones available from just 2 knobs and 1 switch. Rip sets your output level, Dig controls the amount of fuzz present and the toggle switch gives you more or less mid-forward tonal options.

Utilizing a vintage circuit with modern upgrades to create powerhouse distortion, the Dozer Fuzz immediately turns your signal into a buzzy wall of noise, and it is glorious. This pedal’s aesthetics remind us of a wall about to crumble, which is precisely what just might happen when you turn this effect on in your rig, so beware! Thanks once again to Kink Guitar Pedals for sending us some gear to check out – we’ve got more on the way as well, so stay tuned! Check out our demo video below to hear this one howl, then go to the Kink Guitar website for ordering and more info – cheers!
