The Centauri is a modernized, yet highly accurate take on the legendary Klon Centaur overdrive pedal of the 90s. This guitar pedal is built using the highest quality components, including; gold plated PCB (ENIG), genuine Texas Instruments op-amps (TL072), NOS 1N34A germanium clipping diodes with correct forward voltage of 0.35v (±15%), solid anodized aluminum knobs and Neutrik I/O. The Centauri also features Volume, Drive and Tone controls, as well as buffered bypass. It can be used as a clean boost with the Drive knob turned all the way down, and operates at 9 volts DC using a standard negative center power supply.
Three knobs and some fancy internal wiring makes the Centauri Clean Boost/Overdrive an instant star from the moment you plug it in. Combining elements of the original overdrive circuit with modern amenities and an excellent price point of just $149, this is one tone-shaping gem that will be at home in any setup you can think of.
