We’re happy to help launch today’s pedal to the world, even though aspects of it may be familiar to many of you out there. Taking IK Multimedia‘s TONEX platform and allowing you to put it into pedal form, the TONEX Pedal features three footswitches, full EQ and parameter set, state-of-the-art modeling and sound quality and much, much more. There are three main benefits with the IK Multimedia TONEX Pedal: the Hardware, Software, and Community (ToneNET). TONEX Pedal is part of a whole Ecosystem consisting of software, hardware, and mobile app. Our mobile app is free, and you can use any Tone Model on an iPhone/iPad. We also have a re-amp box called TONEX Capture. It’s a convenient way to model your rig. TONEX Capture is not a load-box. Because TONEX software is computer base you don’t need any custom hardware to model. All you need is an interface, any re-amp box, and a mic.

The backbone of TONEX is our AI Machine Modeling technology. AI is used to create models of your rig at specific state. It’s like creating a snapshot of our amp or pedal. You can capture amps, cabs, and pedals like overdrive, distortion, boost, and EQ. No time-based FX. Once your rig is modeled you can share, use as a plug-in, and transfer to the pedal for live use.
