Supercool Pedals '77 Fuzz Blender

We love Fuzz. We love classic circuits. We love modern flair. We love aesthetically pleasing effects boxes. Today’s pedal checks off all the items on this list, with a punch and fury that will put a smile on both your and your amp’s face. The Supercool Pedals ’77 Fuzz Blender pays homage to a sound that we all know and love, with some more options and gorgeous tone oozing from every crevice. Prepare your ears for a glorious trip through the Halls of Fuzz, won’t you….??

The Supercool ’77 Fuzz Blender is not just a heartfelt tribute to the classic Big Muff fuzz circuit, but a calculated modern take that delivers a rich and highly modifiable tone. Not only does the ’77 Fuzz Blender have a boosted gain and sustain/feedback chain for a compressor-like crush, but it features a unique and variable tone stack that sets it apart from its influence. The Flavour switch gives two tone options; the first a more classic mid-scoop tone stack that can be rolled through the spectrum via the Smoke pot and provides a rich bass and treble tone that has been used by countless artists and guitarists. The second option flips this on its head and instead delivers a more modern tone with a mid boost, allowing variable mid control with bass and treble rolloff. This second setting was designed specifically to counterpoint many classic and modern guitar amplifiers which tend to subtract warm mid tones from their output and focus mostly on bass and treble frequencies.

The ’77 Fuzz Blender features two coveted operational amplifiers; a JC4558 and the classic LM741 chips, and the Tar knob allows a smooth and variable sustain/feedback control that provides lighter and more variable clipping that varies from clean, to overdrive, to all-out fuzz attack. Lastly, the ’77 Fuzz Blender completes its namesake with a clean blend knob that allows you to blend in your clean tone to create endless options in your signal chain. This makes it extremely stackable with other overdrive and distortion pedals, and can be used to create some truly complex and specific guitar tones, without the use of external splitters, buffers, or mixers.

Aside from the familiar-looking graphics, the ’77 Fuzz Blender has an extra-wide range of sonic options to explore and create with, bringing the thunder to any musical rig. Pretty much 2 fuzz sounds in one pedal, you’ll lose hours diving in and seeing just what this beast is capable of. Be sure to head to the Supercool Pedals website for more info, and to grab one of these effects for yourself.
