Mojo Hand FX Nebula Phaser

We’ve got an oldie but a goodie for you all today, coming in the form of the Nebula Phaser from Mojo Hand FX. This subtle beauty first came to us way back in 2014, and over the years we’ve had 2 or three different versions, finally settling on this black sparkled model. This phaser pedal is not a clone of the famous 2-stage vintage phaser, but rather a phaser pedal created to be the most user-friendly form for modern players…

The Nebula is loosely based on the Phase 45 / DOD 201 circuit, a 2-stage phaser that is more subtle than a 4-stage model. Lots of Uni-Vibe-type tones coming out of this little box, sitting more in the high-end and adding a liquidy texture and clarity to your tone. With just a single Speed control, it sounds like a Phase 90, but with more heart. The Nebula allows you to control the underwater swell in the perfect realm of not too strong and not too weak. It does not produce a spaceship-like tone that flies over your head, but a “truly usable phaser” tone that’s packed into this little box.

If you’re a fan of set-it-and-forget-it modulation, the Nebula Phaser will be the perfect addition to your rig: one knob, a ton of vintage sounds and the perfect compliment to any style of music.
