The LA HABRA Hard Clipper captures those classic 80’s and 90’s distortion tones we all know and love. It features a master volume, tone knob and a gain toggle switch allowing players to change the character of the clipping. The gain level is fixed! The “Gain” toggle switch offers flexibility by switching between different clipping methods, allowing users to modify the character of the pedal’s fixed gain level and subtly shape the tone to suit their preferences.The LA HABRA Hard Clipper is equipped with a low-noise op-amp that boasts a high slew rate, ensuring excellent transient response and preserving higher frequencies for a clear, dynamic sound. It borders on fuzz, while still being organic feeling and touch responsive – it’s like a fuzz for people that don’t like fuzz!
