Radio Wave Effects Dalliter Fuzz

We recently had the chance to dive into the world of Radio Wave Effects, and were quite impressed with their first creation, the Nervous Energy Fuzz Distortion Overdrive. Today, we’re checking out their second pedal, the Dalliter Fuzz, a vintage-meets-modern fuzzy creation with three knobs and an absolutely monstrous range of tones. The Radio Wave Dalliter Fuzz is known for its sustain and warm fuzz tone. The circuit has been fine-tuned to cut through the mix of a full band and is sensitive to changes in guitar volume, responding dynamically to adjustments in playing styles and guitar controls. It starts with a very specific matched pair of NOS vintage low gain silicon transistors in combination with a classic yet modified fuzz circuit design. High quality components are specially selected to give a warmer tone not unlike vintage germanium transistors.

The overall Output is boosted here as well, to easily match amp unity, and the bass and treble of the overall circuit has been carefully calibrated so each note is defined. The Bias control allows the user to dial in a spitting gated velcro fuzz, or a heavy overdriven wall of face melting fuzz and everything in between. Roll back the volume knob on your guitar and you hear bright clean tones that respond well to picking dynamics to give it just enough grit if desired.

Hand-built using high-quality components in Lexington, Kentucky, the Original Dalliter Fuzz is a fantastic choice for players who want an uncomplicated fuzz pedal with gigantic tone.
