NUX NPO-2 Tutti Polyphonic Octave 1

The crew at NUX is always coming out with new, exciting and fun ways to make music, and I’ve got just that for you all today. The NPO-2 Tutti Polyphonic Octave adds low and high octaves to your signal, with individual controls for finding that sweet spot you’ve been searching for. Compact, yes – but don’t let the size fool you, this effect will make your tone big and bold with a quickness…

NUX NPO-2 Tutti Polyphonic Octave 2

The Tutti Polyphonic Octave allows you to generate multiple octave effects from your input signal. Looking for singing high-octave harmonies? Want the powerful roar of a low octave? Thanks to NUX’s excellent polyphonic octave algorithm, Tutti’s octave effects are highly musical and feature extremely low latency. To offer maximum flexibility for your pedalboard layout, Tutti provides both Buffered Bypass and True Bypass modes. To select your preferred bypass mode, simply hold down the footswitch while plugging in the DC power supply.

Tutti features three unique octave modes: Polyphonic, Bassline, and Momentary. You can quickly switch between them using the top-mounted toggle switch. Polyphonic is the default mode, with both high and sub octave added on the original note. Bassline adds octave only on notes below the split-point, the notes above the split-point remains the same. Finally, Momentary mode lets you press the Footswitch to engage the octave effect, then release it to bypass the effect (returns to dry signal).

Beyond its compact size for easy placement, the NPO-2 Tutti Polyphonic Octave also includes hook & loop tape (Velcro) and rubber feet, allowing you to securely mount it onto your pedalboard. This purple beauty is small, but it produces big, bold sounds, perfect for beefing up any guitar or bass signal, or just adding a little flavor to your overall sound. Thanks to our friends at NUX for sending this one my way – be sure to visit their website for more info, and don’t miss our demo video on YouTube…cheers!!
