Flattley Pedals Revolution 10 AE Dynamic Overdrive

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when another package from Flattley Guitar Pedals showed up on my doorstep, but I knew it would be something intriguing. After having the chance the check out The Joker Boost Overdrive Distortion, I was sure I was in for a treat with this new piece of gear. Well, I was not disappointed, as the incredible Revolution 10 AE Dynamic Overdrive had arrived – this purple beauty retains the dark imagery and bold tones from the first pedal, but with a new and exciting spin on a classic type of circuit…

The 10th Anniversary Revolution 10 AE 3-in-1 Dynamic Overdrive pedal is very powerful and extremely flexible. It’s based on a tube screamer style circuit but on “steroids” giving you smooth creamy overdrive tones full of depth and reactive sounds depending on your style of playing. It comes installed with a three-way toggle switch which gives you complete overdrive tonal flexibility when you need it. With the switch in the centre position the overdrive circuit runs through an Op amp integrated circuit, the switch in the upper/forward position has asymmetrical clipping in the circuit provided by 3 different types of diodes, the switch in the rearward/aft position has symmetrical clipping in the circuit provided by silicon diodes installed in a special way. The Revolution gives you three separate overdrive pedals in one box.

The Revolution 10 AE comes with purple laser etched control knobs, purple candy lacquer along with a purple halo light ring to light it all up. The purple halo light ring diffuses the light when playing live, avoiding being blinded by the standard LEDs just as you are about to go into that all important solo thus giving a larger area to see where the pedal is located easily on the pedal board on darkened stages. The addition of the aluminium foot topper gives you more real estate for contact when switching the pedal on and off during quick changes when playing live.
