Zero G IOD Honey Coma Fuzz

Fuzz pedals are awesome. Spitty, gated, nasty fuzz pedals are even awesomer. Today’s pedal, the Zero G IOD Honey Coma Fuzz, can do both, in spectacular fashion. With 4 knobs for a wide range of sounds on tap, this exciting and scary beast will give you a jolt of creativity from the second you plug it into your amplifier…

Based on some old hooved honey producer of a fuzz known as the BeeBaa (read our review here), the Honey Coma Fuzz serves up a heavy dose of nasty. The Tone and Wool controls will shape your sound, taming the highs and accentuating some mids and lows, while Volume and Fuzz control their respective output levels. The left footswitch selects between two tone sections: one is thick and heavy with some mid scooping, and the other is a bit more thin and nasally. There is more available fuzz on tap than the original unit it’s based on, and it gets LOUD!

Handmade in Ohio, the Honey Coma Fuzz is our first foray into the world of Zero G IOD effects, and we’re more than happy to be along for the ride. Instantly turning your rig into a loud, blistering fortress of sound, this fuzz delivers all the goods. There’s a beautiful quality about this fuzz, which features a ton of sustain alongside its output power – be careful when you turn this one on. Cheers to the crew at Zero G IOD on this marvelous creation – be sure to visit their website, and make sure to see/hear the Honey Coma Fuzz in action in our demo as well!!
